Day 5 - Garbage Riped Open

More and more garbage appears in Falconridge. This time several bags are strewn about. They did not make in the bin. Just left there for scavengers to rip open. However, they were civilized judging by the evidence of paper plates on the pavement.

Day 4 - More Garbage Different Birds

Calgary-
It seems the heaps of garbage just keep coming even on Sunday. Must be the Bylaw Officer's day off unless that's him driving by. I think it's the dude on the bench.

Roost May Have Been Found

Calgary- 
Crow roost may have been located. The location could be the Nortel building with pointy towers. Murders of crows were seen flying in around the property. This facility has been shut down for a couple of years. Very appropiate that crows may living there. They are a harbinger of death and feed off the dead.

Day 3 - A Murder of Crows

Calgary- Still no city bylaw action on the weekend. Less garbage because crows are efficient scavengers. Unfornately this mess is distracting them away from their normal food. Crows will eat most dead animals (carrion). They like dead or dying creatures and will wait patiently for an animal to die. Nothing like fresh eyeballs and gonads.

Fresh update: more garbage out at 4 pm.

City bylaw only comes for the money. Do not call 311 and be put on hold for infinity. Call the local news or Alderman or Alderwoman.

Falconridge is for the Crows

Calgary

Crows have taken over a quiet condo complex in Falconridge. The city appears to be turning a blind eye. The attraction is garbage thrown about at a the neighboring shopping centre. One building appears to be the major culprit as waste is just steps from their rear door. The heap of garbage is in view of busy side road. This ugly pile puts a blight on an otherwise clean residental neighborhood. The question is how long does it take a city bylaw officer to respond? Some complaints have be called in to the 311 number.  The evidence disappears daily and the birds are getting fatter with the foraging. This could be a wildlife issue. The birds are getting lazy by not eating their regular diet. Flight path overhead could be impacted. The human population is affected by constant noise and the playground appears empty.

Local Mosque Dumps Garbage

Calgary

North East Muslim temple dumps waste near city roadway. Langar free dinner for the poor scrapes are spread about to feed their reincarnated friends. In this case, Crows. As a result there is no peace and quiet for the surrounding neighborhood. Constant din of caw caw caw from dawn til dusk resounds throughout the area. Crows feet can be heard scurrying along the roof tops and gutters.  These blackbirds are dominating the local song birds. The only sound is caw caw caw caw!

Called 311 Thursday September 17 and registered a complaint. Called again Friday to report more garbage. No results so far but the 311 operator said the city may respond before September 27. The evidence keeps disappearing and the Crows keep on coming. The neighborhood will have to put with the noise and the messy temple. City Bylaw is either pacing itself or there are to many messes to contain in the concrete jungle.
